In the past, math games involved solving math problems and then getting to do something fun, such as compete in an auto race. They were essentially math tests with short breaks for fun.

Lure of the Labyrinth isn't that kind of game. The math is one of the most fun parts of the game. It is embedded in a strong story line that engages students in an eerie world where monsters want world domination at any cost.

The only way students can prevent that from happening is by solving the puzzles.

And the only way that students can solve the puzzles is by using their logic and understanding of the ways numbers work together.
